This installation, utilising mesh netting, explores the concept of audience awareness to their surrounding space. Four separate moments are created within the installation, all highlighting and questioning the viewers relationship to the specific space.

A mesh wall confines the viewer close to the studio wall evoking a sense of claustrophobia and closeness.

A band of mesh hovers slightly above the ground, capable of being stood upon, allowing the viewer to understand their own weight.

A band of mesh acts as a canopy, causing the the viewer to look upwards to the studio ceiling and its subsequent architecture.

Lastly, a mesh cushion in the corner invites the viewer to sit upon the ground and look around. Here, the viewer makes contact with not only the floor, but also the walls; the greatest connection between space and viewer.
